I have a 4 line x 20 character serial lcd (white text on blue background) that 
doesn't require any eye movement at all, either up/down or sideways.  Great for 
users with tunnel vision I would think but only 80 characters total on a full 
screen.  Even a fully bloated tweet cannot be viewed in one go.
