As Registrar for our group, I am putting together a covering letter
to give to registrants outlining the uniform needs.  But I can't seem to
get the official word on the status of the headgear for Scouts Canada.
1.  Is the Beaver hat still de riguer?
2.  For other levels, is the beret still acceptable. And if National
ever gets their act together and decides on another hat, can it no
longer be worn?
3.  Is it going to be the navy Tilley-style hat or a baseball cap like
the BSA uses?
   I'm at the point where I think I shall suggest that no headgear is
required until such time as National makes a final decision.
