You don't seem to understand. Tree growth, tho slow, is real. We have
many trees planted and growing each year. In addition, trees die.
Often from natural causes. The ecology is a dynamic system.
And BTW the spotted owl also lives on the frames of radio
telescopes...not just old growth forest.
