        JimH sent me the specs for many AMD CPUs. The Athlon 1.2 is
  not on it but the rest of them all show a " Max.Die.Temp " of +/- 85
  C to 90 C. Presuming that AMD design their CPU roughly for the same
  specs, mine running at the hottest of 45 C, is well within specs.


 Sig: No new thinkpad yet.
  The old one still working.
