I am using Thunderbird under Debian right now actually :)  Nice that the 
motherboard I have in this PC let's me boot off of my external 2TB hard 
drive that I installed Debian on :)  So when GRUB comes up, I can either 
boot to Win7 Pro on the HD in my machine or to Debian which resides on 
the external drive -- both allowing me access to all the drives in my 
machine :)  W00T! :)
