I dunno, I don't have any problem, unless I don't understand what
you are asking.

With the esc v1.2 cd-2 in the drive, I can copy the following with
the AE text editor that comes w/ ecs.

This is from the 'os/2 clipboard'.  This is via 'copy' or 
'ctrl-insert'.  Then paste anywhere.  Open the clipboard viewer and
there it is.

Maybe this is not what you are asking???
