That report of Bush's apparent popularity means a whole lot less now
that I've learned just this morning that ony 10% of Texas' registered
voters bothered to vote.
That means both DemonRats and Republicans are in trouble, at least in
Texas.  If such a trend proves to be very widespread, I'd say the
Republican party's suicide is proceeding even faster than I'd thought,
and that Bush leading the ticket wouldn't help it one bit.
