I doubt it would work out as students moved on to higher age levels.
It may work out through age 7-8 because the kids haven't been in school
long enough for the difference between the brightest kids and the slowest
kids in that class to manifest themselves, but by age 10 some kids would be
reading at 5th-grade-level+ and others barely at the second grade levels.
And by age 10, the difference in math skills among those kids could be
enormous.
