| subject: | Mystic Win32 and DOSBox |
Anyone have any luck getting DOSBox to run correctly with old text adventure DOS games (Zork I for example) for Mystic Win32? I actually got it working with DoorWay, and was super stoked until I thought to myself, "Oh wait, these games have a save feature, someone could really mess things up here..." and scrapped it. So tried DOSBox, and it reads the IP and passes the socket correctly, accepts everything, but it just hangs on the BBS user's end. Nothing's getting passed to them. My setup is the aforementioned version of Mystic, using NetFOSS and various iterations of both DoorWay and DOSBox with NetFOSS, or just NetFOSS and DOSBox. This is kicking my ass and I hate being frustrated with stuff like this. -- maskreet --- Mystic BBS v1.10 A57 (Windows)* Origin: throwbackbbs.com -\- meriden, ct -\- (1:142/799) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 280 640/384 712/0 620 848 770/1 @PATH: 142/799 322/759 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
