That's where you and I differ is in the holodeck eps. I never did like those
even in TNG. I like the idea of a holodeck and it should get some screen
time,
but to center an episode around them just wasn't my thing.

The Doctor (Joe as he names him self) is a great character and show a lot of
growth through out the series. I actually met Robert Picardo at a con one
year. Seemed like a really down to earth guy but was very passionate about
his
craft. At the dinner he did a skit with Marina Sirtis, John de Lancie, Ethan
Phillips and Chase Masterson.
You could tell how much he enjoys acting. Even for only 75 people he put is
all in to it. Ethan Phillips was pretty cool also. He didn't get in to it as
much but was still very comedic. Chase Masterson did a song and dance number
and was doing kicks in to the air. Funny thing is, it was my wife that
pointed
out to me that you could see her underware in those kicks. She even got a
picture (and no I won't post it).

Just some random thoughts as I remember them.
