ISA bus that right these card will work on your stock standard 386 machines and
will give you the ability to run up to 4 HDD.

1) You can attach two Enhanced IDE drives ( up to 8.4GB each ) to your existing
controller card and two more to EIDEMAX own device connector. Supports LBA mode
for high capacity drives with storage cap greater than 528MB without special
software drivers.

Allows IDE CD-ROM or IDE tape backup

Boosts the performance of most ISA-based IDE disk controllers. By upto 80%.
 Supports Multiple sector read/write functions to increase data throughput.
