-> The Mexico video is one of the best ever. Why then won't the owner submit
-> it for examination? The video shown on TV was third generation, meaning
-> that the "original" was at least second generation when it was copied
-> for broadcast purposes. This "generation" information is evident in
-> the vertical scan when the frame is rolled to a split. This displays
-> a black bar which contains video information in the form of a scanning
-> dot that sort of jumps around from side to side. The greater its
-> deflection, the poorer the quality of the copy (and the further away
-> from 1st generation).
I didn't know that the owner was not giving up the original for
examination, but then can you blame him? He's got the best proof and if
he gives it up and it get wiped, by people unknown, then it's a bigger
lost to us all. I don't know, I just keep remembering what happened to
poor Billy Meier's photos when he gave them up for examination. He got
copies of the negatives back and not the originals. Unless I was there
with the tape all the time, I would not let it out of my sight either.
As for looking at the Cross-Pulse and watching the head switching on
the tape, you would have to see more than one switching pulse and or
repetitive lines just outside of vertical blanking, as the TBC will add
these lines after multiple passes. What you sound like you are
describing is flaging at the horizontal and vertical intersection, which
is due to the tension, but then it also sounds like head switching too,
so it's hard to tell which one you are referring to. But if you are sure
it is a third and not a second generation I'll take your work for it,
but I don't see that in the quality of the transfer. Remember, I work
for ABC-News and I fix tape machines and cameras, but I will look at
that tape even harder when I get back to work. Are you sure the third
generation isn't the copy of the off-air taping?

Well, I've been on a flying saucer or two in my time. ;-) It makes a
good explanation since a lot of abductees report no sensation of motion
in the craft. I figure you can't hang a 90 degree turn without getting
crushed while moving at 7000mph, or even stopping or starting on a dime.
I know you must have seen those shots of the craft just hoverings, and
then it takes off at a tremendous speed. It doesn't accelerate, it is
just moving at top speed from the word GO. Those can't be faked because
it would require moving the object at such a high rate of speed, in front
of the camera, that the object appears to stretch out in length, and
stays like this through each frame of video. I would really like to see
someone try to fake that, just so we could see what it would look like.
I haven't seen any takers yet, do you know of any?
Hey, I'm looking forward to finding out if it is real or not.
