Hello Rod!

I was chatting to Dave Hatch about my problems, and he reckoned c70 cut,
earth in pin 1, shell isolated, 100 ohms in series with pin 7 may be the
answer to my woes.  He says it is inherent in all modems to some degree. 
Do you think that is my problem?
