  Very much agree.  That happened today from a BBS in zone 2, Phoenix
  Knight spammed every echo carried by the BBS with a chain letter get
  rich scheme.  That BBS was not authenticating users, and allowed
  anyone who reached it via Internet NNTP to post immediately.
