I have a WD 80GB IDE (strapped for 32G) that "was" working, but something zapped the Partition Table so linux fdisk and cfdisk refuse to edit same. It seems the size or ending cylinders of extended is smaller than most of the partitions themselves (just the total itself is wrong). I cannot mod the partitions with anything else, though everything else (DOS/Wins/NDD/Ranish, etc.) will "read" it and say nothing is wrong. Any ideas? anything at all ? I can access all data R/W which is good but cannot add/change/delete partitions. :( -- Be well, : Ben aka cMech http://bellsouthpwp.net/c/m/cmech617/ : + WildCat!
