I've given you far more leeway than I've ever given anyone else in these
echos Raymond ... because I know you're only young, English isn't your
native language, you're excited by being able to talk to people all over
the world, and you're revelling in all the attention (and abuse) you've
been getting over the past few weeks.
I'm giving you every possible chance to straighten up your act.  If you
settle down and start behaving like an adult and quit posting page after
page of bullshit you'll find that most people will stop abusing you and
calling you a dickhead and generally taking the piss out of you.
Just THINK before you type.  I don't WANT to kick you out of the echos,
but a lot of regular users want me to ... and if it comes to a choice
between them and you, you'll be the one who gets the black marble.

No ... I don't have any power to stop him.  I don't moderate VIRUS_NFO,
and the rules of THAT echo ALLOW him to post viruses and virus source
code.
The same guy posts in THIS echo, but he doesn't post viruses or virus
source code because the rules of THIS echo don't allow it ... and he's
welcome to post here as long as he obeys the rules.
YOU'RE welcome to post here as long as you obey the rules ... but I
can't keep letting you disrupt the echo with bullshit forever.
Just settle down a bit, look at the way other people write and reply to
each other, pay attention to the way the regular users quote SMALL bits
of the original message when they reply, and try to go with the flow.  A
lot of these guys can teach you how to defend against virus attacks if
that's what you're here to learn ... but they won't teach you anything
while you're being a pain in the arse.
The bottom line is that it's up to you how long you stay in the virus
echos and how pleasant (or unpleasant) your stay is ... but unless your
sysop finds an alternate feed you may have to look for another BBS to
access the echos anyway.  I'm in the process of nuking a node further up
the mail trail, and this will kill the feed to the Andrew Grimsby BBS.
