I am hoping to find a boat that has standing headroom WITHOUT
a pop-top, the reason being that most pop-tops I've seen have to be
closed while the boat is under sail. On my Cat-22, the pop-top
interferes with the boom vang when raised, and seriously impairs
visibility. I think most pop tops would be similar. One wag in my
sailing club has suggested that the problem isn't that boats are too
snall, but that I am too tall, and should consider getting my legs or
body shortened to fit the boat !! :)
