subject: Do check: Day-of-Week after 1 Mar 2000

Hi All,

If you haven't done so already, test your day-of-week routing for 1 Mar 2000.
It should be Wednesday.

It's a rather good test date, 'cos it tests both general Y2K compliancy and
the infamous leap-year thing. As a reminder, a leapyear is every 4 years,
except centuries, except every 400 years. 1900 and 2100 aren't leapyears,
but 2000 is.

I had some faulty code myself, and while looking through piles of old code
snippets for a replacement I found A LOT of code that was just as flaky.
And that includes some snippets posted in C_ECHO, etc....
So do be careful and check it thoroughly! Don't just assume.

Cya! Agl.
