For those of you who haven't heard, Disneyland is closing down their MOST
popular attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean, to renovate it and make it more
"PC" ... It seems some people (the usual whining minority) were offended by
the womanizing pirates and raised a stink, demanding it be ended. Well, the
whiners have won, so Disneyland is going to DESTROY Walt Disney's vision for
the attraction -- it was the last one he designed/built before dying. Much
deeper, is that pirates are NOT pirates if they don't chase the wenches -- it
just makes NO sense. I guess it is a matter of time before the Bradyites

Disney to take away all the pirates' pistols (hehehe). Doesn't ANYONE bother
with historical accuracy anymore??? What is WRONG with these people who go to
an AMUSEMENT park yet can't even laugh at the cute depictions Disney has of
animatronic pirates chasing animatronic women, and later of a chubby
animatronic woman chasing a skinny animatronic pirate -- now, they are going
to have the chased characters carrying over-laden trays of food ... replacing
sexual harassment with gluttony ... I guess it will only be a matter of time
before the animal rights lunatics demand that the food represented be all
"vegan" (strict vegetarian -- no animal products whatsoever) -- like it

Our local news did a feature about the proposed changes. They interviewed

DL guests, and one man said he was so miffed over the proposed ridiculous
changes that he is cancelling his annual pass.
I love Disneyland ... but this is just too stupid!!!
