BTW..   I just tried it with Win7(64)'s CL version of ftp.  It  
works.   That would be fine when I need to just get the trmb.qwk  
file after a proper login.

BUT..  I'd wish I could find a solution from my WinXP pc.  The  
Win7(64) pc is 8km away from home.
