That would certainly work.

You would need 2 T-pieces and 2 terminators, plus, of course, the connecting 
cable, if you were using co-ax.
If, on the other hand, you were using twisted pair, you could quite easily 
get away with a single (crossover) cable.

A much cheaper solution would be to use either a serial or parallel cable, 
and use the included software to set up the link.. :-)
