There's a couple of major problems when you start with
the stray dog-homeless person comparison. First off
animals recovered from the streets are neutered to
prevent them from making more street animals. Second,
if some one doesn't pick up a stray the stray is "put
down".
Of course some people might think applying both of
these should apply :)
