123a3506cf3b tech Hello Tom - RJT>>> And as Robert A. Heinlein said, "specialization is for RJT>>> insects"! I guess I'll just go on doing the best I can RJT>>> with what I can, and show my grandkids that example, and RJT>>> see what we can do to counter the trend. ->> I don't feel that I have enough access to my grandchildren ->> to counter the overall lack of interest in learning to fix ->> anything anymore. I try. :-\ TW> While us "Old Timers" gripe a lot about it in the Quest for TW> Cheaper and Cheaper or More Exotic "Things" it as a TW> practical matter has become economicly a loosing TW> proposition to Repair things. And for electronics just how TW> many, even amongst the Die Hard Home Electronics Hobbist, TW> realy had adequate skills in Surface mount technology. I 'discovered' surface mount after a long hiatus from reading about electronics some years ago. It was quite interesting that they had 'projects' to build circuits on business cards and draw the circuit board using a pencil. Amazing. While it's true I'm not up to speed (at all) regarding electronics circuits there remain many things that need fixing that do not involve electronics. :-) > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
