| subject: | C Set++ & Swapfile |
Hello George! Reply to Message from George Moralez to All: GM> Does C Set++ use the system swapfile or does it use it's own GM> swapfile? My guess is system, however I have some doubts about GM> that. I once got a message, while trying to compile a small GM> C++ program, that stated the process could not continue because GM> it could not open some ????????.wrk file in x:\ibmcpp\tmp. GM> Well \tmp did not exist, once created everything went fine. CSet++ uses normal Memory, so the normal OS/2-Swapfile grows. (Its a program from IBM, not Microsoft, so they use the Operating System and not their own routines). The Compiler creates temporary Files for C++ programs, which are located in the TMP-Directory, so you have to have one. Its the environment-Variable TMP which points to the Directory.
