You sure could.  In the _BBS directory, there are several subdirectories
with utilities and file lists applicable to no fewer than 8 or 9 different
types of BBS software, Maximus included.  The Hobbes disk is updated
quarterly, and costs around $25 per disk.  Good value too, IMO.
