I did know that about Ethen Phillips.  It was about 5 years ago, my wife and I
went to a Star Trek Con in Calgary (we lived there).  They had Ethen, Robert
Picardo, Marina Sirtis, and a few other minor actors who where on the show and
some other sci-fi shows.  At the banquette we where able to spend close to a
half an hour just talking with all three of them about their time on the 
shows.
 They even did a few singing numbers.  It was a good time.  Back then that con
was really pretty small.  I think there where less then 100 people at the
banquette so it was pretty easy to get close up with the actors.

To bad the con folded the next year.  They just couldn't get space to hold it.
