Quoting Gary Saffer to Mike Flenz 01-22-97 13:35
GS> Mike, the handheld that I reccomend is not a RS/GRE, but the RELM HS-
GS> 200.
Hello Gary, what is the frequency coverage of the GS200? Does it have
FM wide, and how many of the TV channels will it receive? And
how's your average battery life been? Thanks for your assistance.
I'm thinking this scanner might be one I'll buy. Keith Bucher

FG> Yes, I'm *intensely* interested in how this turns out. Espically as
FG> it *appears* they got the entire conversation in question. Unless the
FG> Speaker was in essentially one location the whole time, it suggests
FG> they had both the hardware and knowledge to follow his conversation
FG> from cell to cell. That plus the presence of a recorder suggests it
FG> was much more than casual listening.
FG>
FG> I mean, we seem to have violations of the TDDRA, the ECPA *and* the
FG> Communications Act....
Hello Frank,
What if they (congress) decide that anyone who owns a pre-ECPA scanner
MUST turn them in by passing another worthless law?

PS. Nice to be back on FIDO again. hello everyone.
