It appears that we both started police careers older that most police
recruits, but you have me beat. I started at age 27. I read with interest
your description of modern police training and a lack of discipline compared
to older programs. The same thing happened with most military training
programs. I agree with you, more disciplined training environments obviously
produce better young officers.
