That should be expected for a Hard Drive larger then 64 gig. Byt
Micosoft did put out a later version of FDISK that will work.
Now the probem is How do you stop the HP OEM CD from doing it
autonaticly. I never run with the Autorun turned for my CD drive myself
and also I never install directly from the CD. I copy all the files in
the Win98 Folder on the CD to a directory on the Hard Drive that I name
win98cab. Then go to that directory and click on Setup to do the
install. I have installed on many machines that way and Never had it
FDISK and Fromat the Drive. It jsut started the install.
