one thing I was surprised to find out is, that P.E.I. is not
only an Island but also one of the provinces of Canada....
and the other is, that the soil is there red too, like here
where I live in Redland on Moreton Bay...and....that it's a
cool place for riding a bike....:))
How did you guess?? Actually I'm planing another trip to the US and
Canada in the coming year but not with the bike this time. To many
miles to cover.....not only that, but I don't think we'll get as far east
as P.E.I....But, I'll hire a bike whenever the opportunity arrises.
In my younger years, in the old country, I was riding my bike all
year round, winter as well as summer..and man oh man does it get cold
and snowy in Munich....hehehe
You are talking about the warmer Vancouver....that reminds me of a
documentary I saw about Siberia, where the kids are not allowed to
play outside unless it warmed up to minus 50 degrees Celsius >
