Here in Brazil: my unlimited dial-up access is R$25/month. There
are free ISPs too, but phone bills are expensive. ADSL is +- R$100/
month for "home" use (dynamic ip and forbidden to run as server for
web, ftp, telnet...) or R$200 for "business" (fixed ip and can be
used as server) for 256k link (most used). There are in the country
7-14e6 dial-up users, 500e3 adsl users, few cable or idsn, and some
tens survivor BBS users...

At this moment, exchange rate is 3.60-3.80 R$/US$, and mentioned
prices were the same with dolar at 2.80 or 3.90, float exchange
rates are very floating and overpriced lately.
