I saw a real live flower yesterday. We pulled into a cemetery to
switch drivers. (Mario was tired). When I got out, I saw a little
purple flower growing out of a crack where the street met the curb. I
called it to Mario's attention. He said, "I wonder what it's going to
think of the 4 inches of snow we're supposed to get tonight." It
really is not spring yet, but there, in that crack, is a small purple
flower that doesn't know its seasons. And it was a delight to see it.
