DJ> I bought the first 8 or so issues of the first run, but it seems that

DJ> a lost treasure, The
DJ> grandson of an old lone ranger foe seeking it, vowing vengence for his

DJ> the GREAT,great grandsons of both the ranger & tonto. Well, just
DJ> ruminating!
That is one of the suggestions that I sent to NOW Comics. First of all, The
Original Green Hornet was the Grandnephew of The Lone Ranger. The Silver Age
Green Hornet was the Great Grandnephew of the Lone Ranger, and The Modern Age
Green Hornet(s) were the Great Great Grandnephew(s) of The Lone Ranger. I
suggested Introducing a Great Great Grandson of The Lone Ranger, who would be
the straight across 4th Cousin of The Modern Age Green Hornet, and have him
pick up an alter ego that is closer to that of The Lone Ranger's, and have
him based in Texas (Green Hornet would have been located in Detroit), and
perhap he could introduce a direct descendant of Tonto's, who would join him
and the Modern Day Lone Ranger & Tonto (That is AS The Modern Age Lone Ranger
& Tonto).
I was hoping that we could discover that Alan Reid would have enpragnated and
giving birth to a son, that would take the mantle in the next age.
Johnny Dollars was a great creation, and it would be great to build up a big
Rogue Gallery for The Green Hornet. Crimson Wasp was more of a tweener than
a villian, but Johnny Dollar would be better remembered as the arch-enemy of
The Green Hornet.
I once suggested to have a mini-series for The Crimson Wasp, she was a very
interesting character, and had the potential of being on the same level as
Lady Rawhide.
I was also very much looking forward to the wedding bells of Hayachi Kato and
Diana Reid, which we never got to see!
I hope perhaps Dark Horse will pick up where NOW left off and give us much
more wonderful Green Hornet reading.
