Hello Rod!

You connected this morning at V42 twice.  The MR light flashed for all it
was worth.  Can you try MNP4 or no error correction.  With no error
correction we should be getting lots of Zmodem errors if it is a bad line. 
Or would we?  If the exchange is generating garbage, then this is meant to
show errors.  Since the garbage doesn't come in the correct form (ZNAK XX
YY or something) then Zmodem would ignore it.  BFN.
