No, you doen't.

put this line in the place when you knows the drive you have to work on:
startpath = Directory(newdrive) /* set new working directory */
                                  /* and note the path we're coming 
from */

Yeah, startpath = directory() /* change nothing but note the pathe 
we're on yet */
would do the same. But it costs extra time only to read the path we#re 
already on. So combining both, change path and note old location saves 
a bit time.


Put this line in on the place you would return to the drive you comes from
x = Directory(startpath)        /* set the original path we were 
started with */

The assignment is superflous but usimng always a fuction call instead 
of CALL statement makes the thing more readable.

Directory() returns always the current path is is on. Even as it 
changes to drive/path giverrn as parameter.
