Is it possible the modem isn't getting released on hang up or is it not
hanging up correctly? is there a configuration command that does this?
The only configuration line I usually use for my modem setup is
AT&FL1W2
AT gets the modems attention if it is ready for commands. &F resets the
modem to it's default configuration. L1 sets the speaker to low and W2
returns the real connection speed.
