-> ooooh! A NOVELL network. What a "Novell" idea ;)

Back in the day, I used to be certified on the v2.11 stuff, so I figured
I'd get a version of Novell close to the time period that we used to run
the support board. So v3.11 was available and I bought a copy off eBay.
Next I had to get the server installed, hunt down network cards and get
them to work, find drivers etc. No small feat, but interesting.

Perspective now -- Having 800mb of RAM in a Novell server was a bit odd
to me (our support board only had 16mb in the server at the time) so
matching the hard drives to the memory was another gotcha but I'm
through all the rough patches. 10mbit on the NICs back in the day was
pretty fast, not so much today. I have to wait a little over a second
just for ViaMAIL!'s .OVR file to load (1.6mb).

-> Sweet! :) I have the ability to test that here as well :)

So what kind of hardware/software config do you have in support of SL?

Joe Martin
