Here's another use for air-filters: I cut the material from the
metal frame, yielding a rectangle about 2'x1' and propped it up
between the kitchen sink taps and the wall.
The material makes an excellent splash-guard for drops of water
and/or tea-coffee; my (greasy) fingers brush against it and not
the wall, and it can be rinsed clean.
