ok, i guess i won't be discovering anything older than this..so if you
would like end of week data for the dow 30 industrial average index from
1886 to 1991 in metastock format you had better log onto peter cooney's
financial markets bbs on 03 95325754...don't even think of asking for me to
post it anywhere else or in any other format..where there's a will you find
a way...regards.......PS anyone interested in me posting historic data on
other US indices like the s&p 500, 100, dj 65, russell 1000, 2000,
3000, the wilshire 5000 or the canadian toronto stock exchange (TSE) 35 ???
if you are let me know and i'll make it available on peter's bbs. btw way i
usually download ascii data use parity to convert it to metastock, use
parity to increase the fields from 5 to 7 and then use the almax program to
merge the historic data...how do others do their data conversion????
