Anyone reading that can clearly see what you said, and why you're complaint

"past history" is just a tad silly - seeing that you introduced it in the 
first place.

Here you're referring to a proprietary extension to V.42, not something 
supported by the ITU, and therefore not a "V-dot" protocol.  Hence, your 
references to the marketing term "V-everything" simply doesn't have any 
application, nor make any sense.
If I didn't know better I'd think you had some ulterior motive for these 
posts.
