The next meeting of the Chicago Area Radio Monitoring Association
(CARMA) will be on Saturday, February 8, 1997 at the Destiny Restaurant,
1440 Rand Rd., Des Plaines, Il. Lunch starts at 11:30 am, and the
meeting begins promptly at 1:00 pm. You must purchase lunch because we
get the private room for free!  It has been said that you can get more
information from a single CARMA meeting than from any single reference
source anywhere!
Handouts, new product reviews, frequencies, and items for sale/trade
many times are brought to CARMA meetings. Our average attendance is no
less than 45 people, and as many as 100+ attend. Subscriptions to the
newsletter and BBS will be taken at the meeting, as well as past info
can be obtained from CARMA members.
If you are interested in scanning/monitoring, police/fire/ems,
railroads, cellular, satellites, media/press, ham radio or any & all
forms of communications, then CARMA is the group you will find most
interesting! We have over 500 members in our group!
