Yeah, the locals call it the river channel. It was straightened out at some
point, probably because they built the highway beside it.

It's not much of a river though, about 6 - 8 feet deep and 30 - 60 feet wide
depending on the time of year.

The tourists (we get a lot here) like it. It gets full of people just floating
down from Okanagan to Skaha lake on inner tubes or whatever they can find that
floats.
