You may be right...I thought Midway was first to use some new sound
technology. Maybe I just got the technical term wrong.

IIRC (and I only saw it twice, so my memory could be lapsing...I just
had Mike remind me that we rented it, in addition to my seeing it in the
theater ), the battle stuff at the very beginning was Picard's
memories of Wolf 359.
