Tell me about it!  Doing timing tests for the comp.emulators.cbm FAQ (which
I maintain) was quite a nightmare.  A lot of the emulators assume you only
want to "load and run" games from "disk" - and you
can't easily get to the "READY" prompt!  :(

I've heard that CBM no longer care about the C64 ROMs at all.
