It's rediculous! ;)

Imagine every bbs in fidonet did that. The area would become totally
useless. And probably a reason for systems to disconnect from it. So you
would accomplish the opposit of your original goal with the posts.

I think once a week is plenty enough, to get found by interested readers.
And if everybody who posts here keeps to that schedule, every net has the
same chance of getting found. If you make it a competition: who can post
the most ads, the area gets way too much traffic...

And about ANSI: If you want to get noticed by as many people as possible:
Don't post ANSI messages, that can't be red by a large part of your target
audiance.
