Hi Nancy,
RH> Consider that the beginning of last week we had some days in the low
RH> 80s. Weather Underground is saying mid 50s for highs this week end
RH> tho, actually a bit below normal.
NB> Meanwhile, while I was up at the Pond, Friday night's temps were in
NB> the 20s... a bit below normal for them, too.... It warmed up by
NB> Sunday...
We're in the 60s for a few days, supposed to hit 70 Friday and Saturday,
then back down to 50 on Sunday. Roller coaster weather!
NB> is more NB>> like fall... I am wearing a sweater more often,
NB> though....
RH> We're grabbing light to medium weight jackets. Yesterday for going out
RH> to quilting and voting, I had on a light weight (pull over) sweater
RH> and grabbed my jeans jacket. By the time we went to vote (about 2:30),
RH> the jacket was just comfortable enough but I changed out for a lined
RH> windbreaker about 3 hours later when we went out for supper.
NB> The sweater jacket is my fall jacket... definitely not ready to use
NB> the heavier winter jacket....
We wore winter jackets last Saturday at an outdoor wedding, Sunday to
church. After church it had warmed up enough that a mid weight one would
have sufficed.
NB> RH>> Good therapy too.
NB> And so far just the sort of therapy you can set yourself, I take it...
NB> RH>> It's still not back to what it was pre break but doing better.
NB> I'm RH>> still not stressing it very much but doing a lot of what I
NB> usually RH>> do. Still asking Steve to do a lot of things but he's
NB> stepped down RH>> from doing as much as he was for a few weeks.
NB> NB>> Definitely progress... in the right direction... ;)
RH> Yes, and the doctor thinks so as well.
NB> Also a good thing... :)
He said something about doing laundry--I told him I'd been doing it for
several weeks. I'm still not kneading bread; I want to wait a few more
weeks on that.
NB> NB>> So did you get it done in time for the shower...? And was it
NB> NB>> well received....? :)
RH> Yes, and yes--tho I realised after I was almost done quilting it,
RH> that I'd inverted 2 rows. No significant problem, just skewed the
RH> design a bit but the mom to be loved it anyway.
NB> Made it clearly a one-of-a-kind... ;)
RH> Only one of 2 hand made items at the shower.
NB> Made with lots of love... :)
Very much so; our preaching pastor's wife does a plaque with the baby's
name on it as her gift so we know there will usually be 2 hand made
gifts.
