Didn't have to. Tried later, didn't make a difference. Without any
command line switches, Danis506 reported UltraDMA 5. When I changed to
the 40 wire, the bios reported so at bootup, so this VIA chipset
definitely checks and IDs the 80 wire connector on both IDE channels
correctly. And Danis506 now reports drive as UltraDMA 2.
