Pedro says, "newfiles!"

 PC> [newfiles]
The [key_poke] inserts a  to the input buffer, which essentially
presses enter automatically for the newfiles prompt, so that the user
doesn't see it.  Thus, the user gets a listing of all files since their
last call.
