Spare us the night of long knives crap. The Miami group were holding a
hostage (what law do you find allows a child to be taken from its parent
because you think you might be able to give it more toys?), and it had to
end. They were hardly behaving pleasantly or showing signs of bargaining
in good faith. It was clear they had no intent to give up the child short
of use of force, which bluff was called.
