Thanks , and I did think about it, but I don't know PTBL internals.
Anyway, I eventually lucked out with a donated MoBo that supports large drives
natively so I rebuilt the 80GB (backed up, removed the 32G strap,
re-partitioned then restored the data) the hard way, which I wanted to do
anyway.  [:^)
